Where you'll be

QUIET
CONVENIENT
RETREAT

Our neighborhood is perfectly situated...

Punta de Mita is located between the bustling and lively towns of Sayulita, La Cruz de Huanacaxtle and Bucerias. If you're really into nightlife, our location is not for you. But if you enjoy dipping into the great restaurants, music, and shopping but want to retreat to quiet, Faro Real is ideal! It's like getting your cake and eating it too!

Walking around the charming Corral del Risco and Emiliano Zapata is fun. Small aborrotes, or markets will provide you with a variety of food items. The local fish market has the fresh catch of the day. There are small restaurants to discover all along the beach and into town. And if you're really missing some comfort foods and specialty items, market Olein will likely have them. Download our walking map and take it with you on your walk around the neighborhood.

If you want to explore, set up a rental car or pick up with surf racks at Gecko rental cars before you come down. They will pick you up at the airport and drop you off when you leave. Then you can check out the small towns to the north and south, some with fantastic farmer/craft markets on Fridays and Sundays. There are also golf carts and scooter rentals in town. There are hot springs, whale watching, art galleries, golf courses, and incredible bird watching, to name a few of the activities that await.

Water Sports
You can surf in different brakes in the area from beginner to intermediate at beachfront Punta Mita to advance at “La Lancha” and “El Faro surf break.” Punta Mita's area beaches are protected from the Pacific currents, this makes a perfect place to practice paddle boarding. Kids love boogie boarding and the best place to do it is right in front of the condo.
